It's a medication used for symptoms of psychosis.

This atypical antipsychotic is chemically related to valium, xanax, and similar drugs. It is also used for bipolar illness. Other uses, not recommended by the manufacturer included generalized anxiety, panic, and PTSD.

The drug carries a black box warning. It states that old people taking this medication have an increased risk of dying.
