I feel yer pain Katherine...and even though it is the mess it is ...i and many of the other old timers here ...still call it Yedda...Wink

I still call it Yedda. But then, I still call my apartments Bell Plaza, and it was changed to the Kensington like 5 years ago.

If a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, then that makes me a burning truck filled with TNT hurtling through a rocket fuel depot.

Very few people remember the real, original Yedda.  I was here in early June of 2008 and a couple months after being here, AOL bought the site.  For the first two  or three months, it was wonderful.  Everything worked, there were great people, great questions and great camaraderie.  It has a been a slwo downward spiral since.  But, it is still Yedda to me.  I will always call it Yedda and I have found nothing better to leave it for.

Hi Katherine ,  

 I have been on yedda for 2 1/2 years and still call it yedda and always will . 

 The orginial format 2 1/2 years ago was the best in my opinion .

I have made some wonderful friends and also found the man I love , so Yedda will always have a special place in my heart .

I have also been here for 2 1/2 years and I too will also call it Yedda.  I tried calling it Aol Answers but it doesn't work.  Yedda is Yedda no matter what sign they hang over the door.

One day I said, 'I will go out & look for my enemies' and on that day I found no friends. The next day I said, 'I will go out & look for my friends' & on that day I found no enemies. ~YeddaHeads~

Two years come February. Still Yedda.

Format I can deal with. Glitches, spam, pro-askers, official questions, sales pitches masquerading as actual posts, tagline idiots and other assorted crap can hit the bricks.

I'm with JK though... I can do without the glitches, spam, pro-askers, official question (mainly the ones who insta-delete any answer not in keeping with their approval on their questions), sales pitches masquerading as questions..........the idiots and assorted crap was always here though, I think. Tongue out
