Peach Brandy Beef.

 

5 lb boneless chuck roast, cut in 1" cubes.
Nutmeg and allspice, to taste.
1 pint good Peach Brandy or Schnapps.
1 pint good bourbon (George Dickel works well).
1 tablespoon MSG.
2 large onions cut in bite size chunks.
6 large Yukon Gold potatoes (they hold up to cooking).
6 large tomatoes (or 2-303 cans tomato sauce).
6 canned peaches, cut into bite size chunks.

 

Let it marinate overnight in a large kettle.  Next day start a very slow flame under the kettle, and just bring to a simmer.  Let it simmer until it is done.
