According to the buzz on the Internet, Consumer Direct Warranty was a scam that started to get the attention of government regulators in 2010. A lot of people have filed complaints that the warranty coverage was worthless, they were unable to contact the company on the phone or web, and their physical address kept jumping from place-to-place as the company stayed one-step-ahead of the prosecutors.

I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.
