Is it wrong to avoid romantic love?

Do you think it is wrong to avoid romantic love and simply try to better yourself? I have attempted to form relationships and have had no luck. I feel I will never have my own family, much less get a girlfriend. Instead, I feel I will be a loner the rest of my life. Please share your thoughts....

Hi 2anotherworld. This is sort of a double sided question. I don't see anything wrong with desiding to remain single, especially if you're taking time to better yourself. But if you feel you don't have a choice... well that's another story.

I looked at your Yedda profile, and I see you are only 19 years old. You're a very young man with 70 years ahead of you! I'm sure you will find a good partner.. especially if you've taken time to better yourself! : )

I don't think it's wrong, but with no experience, I think when you do fall in love it's gonna knock you on your ass.

If a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, then that makes me a burning truck filled with TNT hurtling through a rocket fuel depot.

Just try to meet people and when you meet the right person you will know. Make some good friends and you'll have a great time until you find the one.
