Writing on the touchpad

I own a laptop with a touch pad mouse. I wondered if a tool that allow users to use the touch pad as a small notepad exist? I'll explain. I know it's size isn't really big enough, but I'm pretty much looking for the same feature as in the small palm computers. I want to be able to write small notes using the touch pad.

Cool question.

If your laptop is equipped with a Synaptics touchpad, you can do it! Download Sketch here. I don't know if such applications exist for other manufacturers.

Thanks, Had tried the program and found it very inaccurate. So I've made some research and found out that the touch pad is way too insensitive for such a feature. Otherwise it would cost much more installing it in laptops. In addition you can't really operate it with nothing else except your finger. (It has an heat detector). So the sketch pad is good only for very very schematic draws.
