Writing letters?

These days, I only write emails but my sister is the Queen of writing cards and letters the old way.  I get a hand written card from her for every occasion.  She also sends emails and goofy forwards. 

I'm very similar to fifthbeatle's sister. I send cards to everyone for every occasion and also occasions I make up. It's always nice to reach in your mailbox and find something in there that isn't another bill to pay. I do not write letters of apology, because I prefer to make them face to face. It somehow seems more respectful and genuine.

i still write letters by means of hand of my hand writing for only the people I now or for my love ones.but writing a formal letter such as business letter and other letters like that should be done in type written format for formality.

I mostly send emails but I do occasionally write little love notes for my husband and put them in his lunch. I did handwrite thank-you notes if that counts! :)

I do, in fact I just mailed a short letter to my mom thanking her for being my mom and let her know she is appreciated. 

I also have written many letters to apologize for my behavior, but one thing you should not do is apologize if you don't mean it or if you are going to continue the behavior.
