Which is worse knee or hip replacement?

I'd say, "six of one, half a dozen of the other." Personally I wouldn't want to experience either as in both cases your gonna have problems walking (even after surgery). So, which one is worse? The one your suffering with at the time.

A knee replacement takes longer to recover from post-op than a hip replacement.  In terms of the operation my surgeon says there pretty much the same.

I've had a hip done and am waiting to have my knee done.


Although both are actually worse especially in pain, but maybe knee replacement is worse than hip replacement. Knees carries the entire body mass.
