Will there be end of the world?

Yes, there will be the end.   When there is  a beginning, there is an end.

I really think the end is getting near, with all these troubles in the world.

That question keeps coming up. If you will define what you mean by "world" I will give you my opinion.

Eventually the world may come to an end, but I do not believe that 2012 the world will come to an end. I was reading that somebody ran out of things to write about way back in 2000 A.D. thus their calendar came to an end. Besides, do we really care about what things will be like in the years past 5000? I also believe that in the days before the "End" many things have to take place. Like for instance, the world may slow down, a lot, and it hasn't yet. Leave the "Nay-Sayers" behind, they will be surprised when the calendar advances to 2013.
