What are some good places to work besides a hospital, airport, or post office?

It depends on what you consider a "good place".  Some people are mainly concerned about big paychecks.  Others want to work at something they enjoy or have a natural talent for.  And others just want a job that doesn't have a lot of hassles and is relatively stable.

My advice is to NOT work for a big company.  Modern corporations screw over their lower and middle-level employees as much as possible, keeping them intimidated and miserable.  Evidently, the old wisdom that an experienced worker is worth keeping doesn't apply anymore.

I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.
