Word Horse Service Award Coin

I have an old Service Award for a work horse, it was found in a backyard in NJ, in dirt. Dated May of 1916, Horses name was Jim, beautiful details, excellent condition, Tiffany markings. I would like to find out where I can find out the value of this Coin Service Award.,

Need some help to identify a coin:  Horse on both sides, one with 4 dots on one side of the horse, with a rider on one side???  Looks like brass or bronze.  Thanks, Russ
