Why Does My Upper Left Arm Feel Sore?

Yesterday I noticed that my upper left arm feels like I just got a shot (I didn't). It's kind of like a sore, weak feeling (very hard to describe). Had a little dizziness last night but nothing major. Also keep getting quick sharp pains in my chest above my left breast. Can someone please tell me what this might be? Thanks...Oh yea, I do smoke and have generalized anxiety disorder.

Notice how you sleep if you do not sleep in a relaxed position, or your arms are under / above your head while you sleep they can go numb - and whilst they are coming back to feeling, you can feel this pain if its constant, it may cause strain on muscles this pain could also be caused by you lifting something too heavy, muscle spasm or what not best thing to do, if you're worried is to go to a doctor I myself also get strange pains in my chest as you describe, i dont smoke, and doc says i'm having psychosomatic episodes - or his words "i'm imagining it" so if the doctor tells you that, and you're still worried make sure to get second opinion. good luck

May be muscle spasm. Usually the pain killer should resolve the issue.
