What are the rate plans available for mobile phones in Israel? Is there Contract and Pay As you Go or Prepaid? Also, what is the literal translation of these rate plans? Thanks!

Yes Israel has both Pre Paid and Month to Month....If you are the for a short amount of time and have an unlocked International World phone I suggest to bring it to Israel and go to either Orange or Cellcom and ask for their prepaid sim cards....Orange its called BigTalk and Cellcom is called TalkMan..its the easiest way for tourists...or there are month to month as well...it depends what you are looking for but i suggest Pelephone if you are staying for a while
