how do i know if my dad left me in his will? He passed away a month ago , and I have not heard anything. He was a smart man , and would of had a will.

Try asking other family members to find out if there was a will left.

Family is the best thing in life.

If there is a will and assets that require probate, the personal representative will be required to notify all "interested persons."  This usually includes all family members even if disinherited.

You should call your local Probate Court to see if an estate has been opened for your father.  If it has, you should be able to review the terms of the will.
