If it's your car, you have total control over who rides in it.  That's not saying that it's not going to cause problems with your husband, but if he's got a mistress, there are more than just transportation issues in your relationship.

I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.

If the car is jointly owned, it's also your husband's car, even if it is "your car" in the sense that you normally drive it.
