Hi Gail, here is the way I see it. First of all I want you to know, I have not watched Idol this season. (yet) However, predicated on the performance you downloaded, Crystal is a special talent. She has a very unique voice, and her gift IS God-given! The extent of her success will depend greatly on her depth (song catalog) and who gets to guide her career! I am sure Clive Davis is already making his moves...I know his taste, and he's "on it" I'm sure.. But I can tell you this, she has the X factor, and whether she wins the contest or not, she will be a household name and international talent.

Gail, are you familar with Corrin Bailey Rae? She's one of my favorite young talents! Yes, Alica Keys, Whitney Houston..... and many other greats are guided and developed by Mr. Davis!

I'll be watching the final 12 too!

I don't wish to be argumentative ,but I disagree with the Islamic belief that I should be killed! " If radical atheists decided they needed to kill believers to ensure their place in nothingness, I'd be criticizing that too."

Crystal Bowersox has officially signed a record deal and now we're learning more about her upcoming debut album. As Examiner.com previously reported the 2010 American Idol runner-up inked a record deal with 19 Entertainment and Jive Records.

According to Billboard.com Bowersox has already started recording the album. When it's released this fall, fans may be surprised by what they hear. Bowersox recently asked her Twitter followers and fans if they would hate it if she recorded a pop song. The single mom will also continue to hit the studio to work on the still untitled album even as she heads out on tour. She'll join the American Idols Live! concert tour with the rest of the Top 10 contestants beginning July 1. Now that the wheels for her debut album are in motion Crystal says, "I am very excited about being able to record my debut album and I am very excited about working with the folks at 19 Recordings."

Bowersox found sudden fame on the most recent season of American Idol. Her talent as a singer and songwriter made her a front runner from the beginning.
