which is better -32 bit or 64 bit?

One of the major differences between 32 and 64 bit is the amount of memory (ram) you can have. With a 32 bit your top ram will be 4GB's.. With 64 bit you can get 16 GB's. There are other differences but this one is pretty serious when it comes to upgrading.

Well, easier said than done because hardware industry will support older machines as long as they can which brings in the cash. Sad but true I guess.
