What's your reaction to the death of Derek Boogaard?

It's a shock to learn that Derek Boogaard -- one of the most feared fighters in the NHL -- is dead at age 28.  What are your thoughts?

The cause of his death is still unknown.

 

One of the most feared fighters in the league, Boogaard missed the last 52 games of the regular season with a concussion and shoulder injury and did not play in the playoffs.

Sad Sad story....Possible result from a concussion.autopsy was pending.

I don't wish to be argumentative ,but I disagree with the Islamic belief that I should be killed! " If radical atheists decided they needed to kill believers to ensure their place in nothingness, I'd be criticizing that too."

It took everybody by surprise here. It's going to take some time before authorities know exactly how and why he died.

He was definitely one of the feared fighters and the best talents in that field. Its hard to replace a guy of his potential and caliber.

We have had so many that have died in this past year, yes some were older, but look at all the young ones..

So Sad, such a loss..
