After answering I have noticed that my mother actually owns two of the books that are advertised on the right bar! As far as I know the one by Shirley Trickett is very good

My mother went on a Candida diet (similar diets are mentioned in the links below) and it really helped her. It is worth checking because as the article you linked says it had a very real effect on my mother lifestyle.
