What's wrong with the central air conditioner?

My mother says when she turns on the central air conditioner, it smell like cat piss or something. My girlfriend says she smells

something as well....

Dose anyone know what's wrong with my air conditioner? It need to be repaired?

How is anyone to help you if you dont give any clue whats wrong?

It could be one of many things: a broken wire, low refrigerant, burnt out blower fan, bad compressor, thermostat not working, clogged ducts, bad registers. Thats just a few things off the top of my head.
