Answered: As a Notary, can I notarize my own document(s)? Short answer is NO I work for the Government and deal with notarized paperwork all day long. We reject any documents that are notarized by the person who is also the one filling out the paperwork. It may not be "illegal" but it's its also not acceptable for a notary to do that.
