an ER6011-16 (16"standard size) can do about 12" on a 1/8" bead..Most welds come out about an average of 3/16 to a 1/4 depending on heat and the welder. There are allot of variables so buy an extra stick or two..You can allways use them later and on a small job its cheap enough.
