Best way to get good car loan?

What's the best way to get a good loan to buy a car?  I want to get a Toyota Priyus and pay less than $200 per month.  Can someone help me figure out how to do this? Should I just get one of the loans that the dealership offers?

There's a better way to buy a car than depending on a loan, especially if your credit isn't that hot.  Answer these questions first:

1.  How much cash do you have in your savings account right now?
2.  How much can you reasonably afford to pay yourself to save for something better?  If you can afford $200 per month then pay that to yourself.

Here's how it works:  Buy a car using what you have in savings right now, even if it's a $1500 clunker off the lemon lot.  In the meantime make those $200 payments to yourself by putting the money into a savings account.  At the end of the year, sell that car and combine it with your $2400 (plus interest) and pay cash for an upgrade.  Keep doing this and in several years you will be able to pay cash for a new car.

You will be surprised how the monthly payments can vary from one company to the next. Hope this helps. I work at a dealership and let me say first of all good luck getting the priuys especially if u live in los angeles...2nd of all no amount of good credit will get u down to 200 a month...But if u want it that low you have to put a hell of a depoist...for ever 1000 bucks its 20 bucks of ur monthly payment... Then u must have a good credit score...If this is too much a more economical car like the Yaris is good small safe and will probably get u around the 200 mark.
