The lake is private, so to use it you need a key to the ramp, and to get a key you must live in Egypt Lake Estates. The Egypt Lake Civic Association maintains the boat ramp, and somewhat, the lake. The only way they give you a key is if you prove you live in Egypt Lake Estates, and pay their 100$ association fee. There is rumored to be a private land owner who lets people put their boats in somewhere past Ralston Beach Apartments, but I haven't heard or seen anyone actually doing that.

In short... even if you could rent a boat/ski.... you couldn't get in the lake. Carlton Arms can no longer get a dock/ramp permit from the ACOE so you probably can't even put in from your apartment. Sorry!

If there are 77 minerals in this water what are some of them? I don't want to think that there was some dirt added to my water and I am going to drink it!
