Yes, if someone had an artificial heart they would feel love.  Emotions come from the brain, not the heart.

Hi,


The center of the emotions is in the brain not in the heart.  Please refer to "Descrates Error" by Prof. Antonio R. Damasio.  It's a book about a man that was involved in a work accident in which a metal (about 1 intch in diameter) entered his head, a bit below his ear, and came out at about the top of his head (leaving an open hole, like a tube !).  He recovered quickly but lost all kind of emotion.  His life were miserable.
