I want to find out how to get a refund for my purchase of RegWork-Registry Cleaner w/Advanced Errors Fix System that i purchased for $39.95 .

support@regwork.com

My order receipt for RegWork-Registry Cleaner with Advanced Errors Fix System indicates that there is a 60 Day Money Back Guarantee.  I would like to get information on how to get a refund from ClickBank- the entity that debited my account for $39.95. The RegWork programs that I purchased simply duplicates the programs that came already installed in my computer. Therefore, RegWork programs are not needed on my computer.

For one thing, no one needs to use a registry cleaner. Certainly with Vista and Window 7, you need never ever install or run a registry cleaner unless you are having specific problems - and then, only under guidance.

WOT (Web Of Trust) puts a red warning light against most Google entries for this program - so it probably ain't to be trusted.

All reg cleaners are described as 'snake oil' by Microsoft experts.  So, who do you trust?

OK - rant over.  You've probably been stung by one of the nasty scamware sites who dupe you into buying their crap software.

If you can't contact the company by normal means for a refund, then it looks like you've been conned by these crooks.

Next thing; uninstall this crapware.  With luck, it will uninstall OK, though some users have had problems getting rid.

If you were having PC problems leading to you installing this, post back with your problems - though these AOL boards are crap compared to the old Helping Hand Boards, so you have to wait for someone to find and answer your query.

Just to add:

CCleaner is all you need. It's free and is universally acclaimed.

You can get it here:

(download button is upper right)

The registry cleaning side of CCleaner is optional. In any case it's regarded as 'safe' as it only lightly skims the registry.  However - with Vista/Win7 you don't need use any reg cleaner whatsoever.
