Would you rather vote for a politician who is smart but out of touch with the issues or in touch with but not smart

I fail to see how a dumb politition could really be in touch with the issues, or know what to do about it.

At least the smart guy can get in touch. And being smarter, is better equipped to do something about it.

Foolproof you say? Challenge excepted.
