Contact your old unit (unless it has been decommissioned) and ask for "Unit diary excerpts" detailing who was also in your unit when you served.  In that we're talking 44 years, it may be difficult to get these records.

Rocmike aka American Patriot GIVE IT A BREAK. Hours and hours and hours of alias after alias repeating the same crap over and over. Today we have had Michael MacGilray, Bill Compton, anonymous and Fletcher. GET A LIFE

Those diarys for the month of November 1967 are missing at the archives !    Tried just about everything.  Hoping now to find someone with personal knowledge.  Thanks for the suggestion anyway.  Apparently there are people who like to throw their two cents in who cant understand why someone would like to find out why they had a bomb dropped on them.    B    2/503  173d  Abn
