Discuss Bob Suffolk's answer to: What are some uses for the element chromium?

The uses are virtually endless.  Chrome salts are used where exceptional cutting power in abrasives is essential, chromium metal is used for its durability in close tolerance machine parts (particularly aerospace) and it is used for its corrosion resistance.

Hard chrome can be made nearly as abrasion resistant as stellite or Titanium Nitride (TiN).

Obama's program is not working. That is why you aren't, either, or soon won't be.
