I concur about the need to get used cars at a far lesser price than perhaps going to a showroom and buying a new car. I have a couple of friends who prefer changing cars every two years.

I own autumotive repair shops, and for decades bought multiple new cars every other year on the premise that Imake no money when my shops are working on my vehicles. Then one day it dawned on me that I will always have a car / truck payment. It was then I decided no more, I was going to maintain the vehicles get the full value from them. I and my wife do a lot of driving so many miles per year. I now drive and maintain the vehicles and intend to swap them every four to five years while they still have some trade in value. That is my humble opinion, use It for what it's worth
