"the government of the United States of America is not in any sense founded on the Christian Religion" Thomas Jefferson, article 11 Treaty of Tripoli.
Thomas Jefferson to P.H. Windover 1815 Me 14:283: "Religion as well as reason, confirms the soundness those principles of which our government has been foundedand its rights asserted."
He full well understood the importance of religion in our country and its' true meaning to those who were founding it.
Wether or not he practiced any such thing as religion is of no consequence..............it is the fact he understood what was needed and how it inforced the backbone of this nation.
They are still fighting over his slave that he had children with.............obviously he did not see a need to insure her childrens' place in America.
One might say he was a dog..............he loved to throw dogs off the balcony and watch them die.........read his biography........he was a scoundral and a mutt but he had some redeeming qualities when it came to America.
Lady Darko
Rocmike another long day of posting. I bet you break your 18 straight hour record today.
AC -- Why is it that when you hear the truth from someone who does not agree with you, you blame Rocmike ? I am giving LadyDarkoE a helpful on this one.
P.S -- I read Thomas Jefferson was mean to horses too.
You can not tell that Rocmike aliases all repeat the same thing over and over?
AC -- Just because some people have the same opinions on certain subjects does not mean they are all the same person. People have the same ideas all over the world just as much as they differ. Don't you think?
AC -- Greatbear215 and Nyla785 sound like the same person to me, but who am I to say so?
It repeat the same thing over and over and use the words leftists, Atheist, Muslim, racist, Hitler, Jeremiah Wright and a few other in almost every post. Everyone on AOL knows they are coming from the same poster. It posts non stop one alias following the other. A blind man can see it.
You can not have religion AND reason. Sorry darko, wrong again, even if you claim Jefferson said it too .
AC -- I just find it interesting that it should bother you so. I have been bothered in the past by people doing certain things only now I can't remember what they were:).
I have been dealing with AP-Rocmike for years. I despise its sick insane hate. It deserves everything it gets. I am not the only one who does it.
Ctoyen he said it there is no claiming it is in the books it just shows your ignorance or refusal to accept the written word.
Now we look to Rev Wright who was betrayed and thrown overboard by Obama in Rev Wrights own words: " But and here Wright paused for emphasis "the chu7rch was an integral part of Baracks' politics. Because he needed that black base."
Chapter 5 " The Man Who Prepared Obama For The Presidency"
"The true fanatic is a theiocrat, someone who sees himself as acting on behalf of some super-personal force: the Race, the Party, history, the proletariat, the Poor, and son on. These absove him from evil, hence he may safely do anything in their service. "
