I think you should be concentrating on your education, hanging out with your girlfriends and enjoy ALL the boys.  Have a LOT of boy "friends" and let HIM do the wondering...<if you know what I mean...> 

Just chill around him and see what he does.  Obviously...he likes you and you like him.  Boys mature slower than girls and they act kind of goofy at that age.  If I were you...I'd just be myself and let nature take it's course.  If he's more than just interested in being your friend after you've told him of your feelings...then the ball in his court...unfortunately.
