Upgrading a Desktop PC

I was thinking of upgrading my desktop PC from Windows 98 to Windows 98ME. Is it a worthwhile upgrade, and can anyone tell me what Microsoft charges for 98SE?

You won't get a copy of win 98 ME from Microsoft. They stop selling old operating systems. You'd be better off getting a new computer with win xp or 7. You're way past the due date as far as obsolescence. I imagine you have problems with software and all.

If a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, then that makes me a burning truck filled with TNT hurtling through a rocket fuel depot.

and if you manage to upgrade to Windows 98ME microsoft does not support any updates to it anymore. Best thing to do is expand hard drive and ram and put in windows XP or windows 7, if that cant be done then its time for a new computer??
