If i went to jail on a drug charge my checked my records .then fired me ,can i still get my unemployment payments

If you lied about your prison time on your job application then you're toast as far as unemployment benefits go.

If you were working for an employer, then was sent to jail for your offense. When you returned back to work they fired you. You should go down to your unemployment office to see if you can collect, you will probably need to appeal. Many states have programs for those with criminal records and they know who will hire you! So check with your unemployment office.
