They went under water intent on killing something anyway, so, they thought nothing about adding to their kill. The shark was in its territory and the humans were not. Maybe the shark is tired of seeing the sea robbed of its food by humans!

They are lying, if that shark wanted him, he would have taken him. They were promoting a spear fishing company and took advantage of a situation and killed a shark. That shark isn't going to dance around with them for 2 hours to get killed. I have been in the water with shark and other fish and they scare pretty easy, some will stay around if you don't scare them off, or if you feed them. That shark just lowered it's guard and was killed for no reason. Period!

Do you know how fast a 12 foot shark can attack you and kill you if it wanted to. You wouldn't know it until your legs were missing and he was swiming away.

oooh macho douchebag....with all of your "experience" you think you are a hero for what you did? spearfishing for yellowfin tuna... did you think nemo was going to show up? then to hold up the tail and the teeth...maybe next time we'll have a picture of the shark wearing a lobster bib

There are way too many HUMANS on this Earth and shark numbers including Tuna are dwindling for HUMANS to keep this as a sport, we just keep multiplying, at some point this will not work anymore. Any other species multiplying at the rate humans are would be considered a problem and exterminated much like rats and roaches, not implying or saying we are vermin, however this planet can only sustain so much.

Who actually believes the following quote?

The killing was "absolutely not" for show, Clasen said. "It was so remorseful for us. It was a quiet boat ride home."

The picture of you proudly holding up the shark's hacked up jaws and tail on the "quiet boat ride home" suggests otherwise...

Spare me.

2 hours!!?? why didn't they just get in the boat and leave? After watching the video it seems to me that they "hunted" the shark down and tortured it for 2 hours until it finally was dead. It seems cruel and sick! Hunting and killing anything is wrong in my opinion when people can go to their local grocer and buy whatever they need to eat. Also the photo of the man with the shark jaws cut out with the fresh meat hanging off of the jaw is really disturbing. They don't appear to be protecting themselves, they just look like killers/murderers to me! Disgusting.
