U 500 regular insulin in insulin pump therapy

My Dr. is switching my insulin to U 500 in my insulin pump.  I understand that this is 5 times stronger than my current insulin.  My basal rates are going to be 1.1 per hr, where they were 5.5 per hr.  What I don't understan is the correction factor.  If 1 unit of humalog will bring my BS 10 points then won't 2 units (U 500) bring my BS down  100 points?

You need to ask your doctor this question. Whenever I have a question like this, I will only ask him in order to avoid taking too much or too little insulin.

I recently went to a new doctor and noticed he was located in something called the Professional Building. I felt better right away.
