What will typically happen if you eat food that is 2-3 weeks old, but don't realize it until someone tells you so?

If said food is not spoiled, contaminated or otherwise rotten ~ nothing. If it should happen to be contaminated, then you'll most likely throw up or have the runs. Perhaps both.

But if it was properly stored then it's unlikely to have been contaminated ~ which means the most you might get is a bellyache. Quit worrying about it.

I was going to say the same thing. Either he is getting bullied by some kid or something or his schoolwork is making him nervous or stressed out. My son is 8 and he wets the bed at night when he is nervous about the next day or stressed out about something.
