Is it true when one is dead one stays dead given there is insufficient evidence for the spiritual conception of an afterlife?

Is death everything's final limit? Is posthumous nonexistence like prenatal nonexistence? Is life terrifying for many without gods or delusions?

The Bible says in the book of Luke 16:19, there was a certain rich man and a certain beggar his name is Lazarus. They both died and the beggar was carried by an angels into heaven while the rich man was buried and he goes to hell. After death there is another place that the soul of man will lived forever.

Atheists can be such grouches.  They never see the better side of life, they talk evilly of everyone, they lie, and they spread all the malice that they can connive.

I can certainly do without the hatred that atheists promote.  These people really are bigots.

Leftists haven't been right yet -- about anyone or anything.

The preponderance of Evidence and I am talking scientific has long supported the FACT death is NOT the END.

Don't wish to confuse you with mirrored image that scares the Physical to Death.

For those who have wondered Could there be another way, PRIMAL DREAM SEIZE the MIRROR it just could be the other way. Peace L.C. Walkin aka A. Eversole

Spirit tell me I go on.  Death no end me.  Death no end anyone unless God say so.  Prison punish for people that do bad thing.  Death punish for people that do thing so bad prison no correct them.  God put people in hell for correct them.  God destroy people so bad hell no correct them.

God destroy athiest.  God put Muslim in hell a while.  God put Christian and Jew in small heaven.  God stay in big heaven with friends.

I find Jesus. Jesus love us all! Muslim have only hate and fear. I no go back Islam. John 3:16

Hi Physicalist, we've met a few times before. I classify myself as Agnostic while I believe you identify as an Atheist, is that right?

Interesting question you post, and one in which I have to say I agree for the most part. Dead is dead, once your physical body has left the plane I don't think anything much more than decomposition occurs.

However, I find myself wondering about such things as reincarnation as well as some form of 'afterlife.' Not "Heaven," with God on a celestial throne ~ but some form of 'something' that allows us to move on with self knowledge and acceptance.

Have you ever heard of ~ and read ~ a book called "Life After Life?" It's something I read years ago, and the main thing I recall is that each person's account of their death experience had similarities that could not be explained in any other way other than that each experience had actually happened to the individual whose story was told.

I don't know if that means there's a God or if it just means that people's inner selves (sometimes called 'Higher Self' or 'Holy Spirit') took over at that moment and showed them what they had heard through the years and subconsciously expected to experience ~ but it's certainly food for thought, isn't it?

As earlier proved to full scientific rigor, the only delusion that Physicalist and his umpteen pseudonyms suffers is the atheist delusion -- which is clearly the most violent delusion that Hitler and Stalin ever preached.  Here we see the utter violence that all atheists preach and the danger that these bigots show to any society.

Here is the only cause for bigoted and irrational atheists to persist with their ridiculous and embarrassing delusions.  It is time that they grew up, got off their soap box, and learned science rather than atheist bigotry.

Obama's program is not working. That is why you aren't, either, or soon won't be.

As a non-believer (I'm more the "show me" type), I can only go by what I've experienced. I've never died as far as  know, but it seems like something I'd rather not do, for whatever reason. There does seem to be some finality to it; otherwise, we might have some actual evidence to the contrary. I am neither deluded nor a bigot. I just like to be REALLY sure about things that are as important as belief and life and death.

BTW, my way of looking at the world inflicts zero harm upon anyone else; the assumption that I am irrational and unable to accept of the full virtue of actual scientific rigor is, at best, humorously childish, and at worst, bigoted and dangerous in and of itself. If you're gonna get up on a soapbox, make sure it's stable before you start jumping up and down on it.Wink

Luvbythesun; Read the bible and approach God in prayer. He is always with you. Please remember that a persons degree of education and abundance of means have nothing to do with a relationship with the Lord. It is about laying all of that and all pride aside and approach God with humility. If you truly want to know God, you will find Him.
