sorry it took so long for anyone to answer...perhaps you've gotten some local advice since then...palms are probably some of the easiest trees to transplant at large sizes..palms are monocots and resultantly..their roots do not get thicker and thicker every year..reduce the foliage to compensate for root loss(balance transpirational loss)...pick a good time of year...and properly maintain through transplant shock..and you should have no problems...mbb
