I noticed that trees that grow on a slope still grow straight upwards (not vertical to the ground). How do trees "know" to grow straight upwards ?
It is called "geotropism", which casues a plant to grow general "straight" up -- the same characteristic causes roots to grow generally down. The attraction of plants to light, which causes a plant to grow toward light is called "phototropism"
I big fan of you
