Here is a very challenging question for your consideration. I'm not even going to smart off, or speculate as to how a guy would get poison ivy in that particular spot, and above all, I'm not going to laugh, I'm not going to laugh, I'm not going to laugh.
Rub. Don't scratch.

O dear. And Idontwannano. Please see your Doctor, you'll have to show him/her and answer questions concerning if you have it anywhere else on your body, how long have you had it-etc. No questions will be asked of HOW you got it, they don't care. The only thing they care about is you not suffering with intense itching on a very sensitive area. He/she might give you an option of either a prescription topical lotion or gel, or, have you to take prescription meds so as it will go away faster.
Go to the Dermatologists for a prescription for the rash and itching. Prednisone is good to help with Poison Ivy. You need to seek care from a physician. This is a very sensitive area on the body an can be dramatic from the swelling and itching. Remember: Don't scratch it! I wish you well.
Other people asked questions on various topics, and are still waiting for answer. Would be great if you can take a sec and answer them
