Thames River Services go past the Thames Barrier http://www.thamesriverservices.co.uk/sight_seeing.cfm

You can get a boat from Westminster to Hampton Court Palace but it takes more than 3 hours. It's a pleasant journey with lots of stops along the way. The trips don't start until the end of March. More info here http://wpsa.co.uk/hampton.html
