NO it is not dangerous to travel to israel now.

People waste time and energy worrying about all the wrong things.

The most dangerous thing (leading cause of death in the US) is heart diseases , which account for 40% of all deaths, followed by cancer (23%).

The number of casualties from terrorism, compared to traffic accidents, is benign.
And if you are still worried, you should know that the last few months have been fairly quite.

Israel has a wide range of attractions - historic, natural, religious, cultural.
The people (Israelis, Arabs, Jewish, Islamic and Christian) are warm and welcoming; The food is very diverse and appealing to every palate; The night-life in Tel-aviv is considered among the best in the world.

The cost of traveling in Israel is low compared to the US and Europe.

Enjoy your vacation !

For god sakee - no!!

The image of Israel from ourside is so misleading.

In the last 12 months - less than 30 people died from terror attacks - far less than thise who died in car accidents (around 400). Since the rate of car accidents in Israel is similar to those in many European counrtries, you can assume that the chances of you getting killed in a terror attack is rediculously scarce.

If I were you I would go with no hesitation. I would, however, prevent myself from going to areas around Gaza strip, and of course Gaza itself and the west bank.

If you need any advice of where to go and what to do - feel free to contact me.

Hi there, I can tell you that travel to Israel will never be dangerous. I presume you think this because of the media.

I have family who live there and I tried at most two times per year to spend my vacations in Israel.

It is a great country and the people is friendly so if you have the opportunity to spend some time there believe me you are not going to regret it.

No, it is not dangerous to travel in Israel. Do not always beleive what you see/hear in the media.

I leave here, as everywere else it is adviceble to be careful ( mostly when you drive ). Other than that, no problem!!!!

Can you imagine? All the 3 religions on the same spot?

The so-called "west bank" (Judea and Samaria) is also safe, as long as you travel by bus. The buses are safe and the drivers know the safest ways to arrive anywhere. You can easily travel by bus to the blossoming Israeli settlements, as well as to historic sites such as Hebron, Shechem and more.

Goodness, no.  As everyone else has already said, the media distorts and exaggerates every little thing that happens in Israel.  I actually just moved to Israel and became a permanent resident.  I have always felt safer in Israel than I ever felt in America.  Every place you go has security, not because the places are considered dangerous, but because Israel is smart and careful, with everything.  When you walk into a mall, a movie theater, onto a bus, etc., you see security.  You know that because of these precautions, you are safe.  In America, on the other hand, anyone crazy person could decide that they want to set off a bomb in a mall, or bring guns into a school.

What I'm saying is that I've never felt unsafe in Israel.  It's actually the opposite.  I'm sure you'll feel the same when you come.  It's amazing here.

Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they’ve been given then to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is nothing.
