I actually don't. I have little desire to see South Africa or to kill any large quadrupedal animal that I do not plan to eat.

Keep close to Nature's heart... climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods. Wash your spirit clean.* Victims of circumstance owe it to fate. Victims of choice owe it to themselves.*One of the widest gaps in human experience is the gap between what we say we want to be and our willingness to discipline ourselves to get there.

you can go on a safari but dont go hunting

be prepared for the weather there and mosquitos

When God speaks, listen to his revelation

Alex,
I did it and it was great !.  However, as far as I know it is not very safe in South Africa now and I would re-consider my plans.   But, it you decide to go there are so many places:  Kruger Park, Etosha pan, Drakensberg mountains, Mountain Zebra park, Natal national park, ...... just few to mention.

Love is the battery of life....

It sounds really great. South Africa is a very adventurous destination. You can experience the world’s most popular parks:  Kruger National Park, Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, Etosha National Park and Table Hwange National Park. The beauty of Africa’s floral fauna and exotic wildlife is awe-inspiring.

South Africa’s Mpumalanga province is internationally known for its wildlife and many of the country's acclaimed game lodges are based there. The area also has spectacular scenery – some of the places of interest worth visiting are the Blyde River Canyon and God’s Window, from where there are sprawling views. The temperate Eastern Cape, the hot, dry North West Province and Limpopo province are also increasingly popular game viewing regions.

The premier South African safari game viewing destinations are the provinces of Mpumalanga and Limpopo, which is located in the north east of the country. Here you will find the South African flagship park the Kruger National Park, with more mammal and bird species than any other. If you want to know what animals to expect in which areas see this page about South African wildlife.
