MY DOG,blacklab/pitbull 14/15yrs old HAS A TUMOR ON HIS FRONT ELBO, WE HAD THE FIRST ONE REMOVED ABOUT TWO YRS AGO FROM HIS NUT , THE ONE ON HIS ELBO DONT SEEM TO HURT HIM, im afraid he will rip it ...
Please do NOT use the dental floss. Possible severe bleeding and likely infection can follow. Also the dog will get into habit of licking area full time. That is very hard to stop once they start. Have a vet remove it or live with it. Since dog is licking it now, that may get worse. I have seen many of these, cancer and benign. Best you can do is keep dog comfortable and well otherwise. An older dog may pass on before it gets a lot bigger. It is still up to you.
