Not to mention the question of why we find it necessary to wash bath towels when they have only been used to dry ourselves off after we shower. If we've just showered, aren't we clean? So if we're so clean, how can the towels get dirty?

You should have lived in my house some years ago!

My youngest was probably around the age of 8 or so and I had instructed him to go take a shower - and to use soap!

Well, I had stopped buying bar soap because the kids always left the bar in the bottom of the tub and it'd just get all slimy and used up due to water erosion (not actual usage). I switched to some brand of liquid soap which called itself 'body shampoo' on its label.

So here we are, and I hear my son yelling that there's no soap in the shower. I called back, telling him that the soap is on the windowsill and he can't miss it - it's RIGHT THERE!

He insists a few more times that there's none - there's NO SOAP!

I yell back, telling him that there is too; and it's in the certain color bottle, right there on the sill!

Finally, we hear him screaming, "I can't use this! It's not soap, it's SHAMPOO! IT'S shamPOOOOOO! I can't use SHAMPOO!"

To this day, the rest of us still tease him about that...
