Discuss Harley Spirit's answer to: I was told that my cousin who died had c d's in bank america how can i fine out more about them?

Theres a ton of papers to fill out before you can get that money out of the bank.  Don't no body but a lawyer know all the forms and where to get 'em.  As much as I can't stand lawyers this is one time your mouth piece will earn his keep. 

It will help if you got a copy of his will.  If not that you gotta have your lawyer talk to their lawyer and straighten it out.  The good part is lawyers respect each other.
