What happens to 30 day trial tires(originally brand new) when they are returned in a used condition(let's say you try them in a brand new condition- but don't like them and return them),..are they retreaded and sold as new, or are they simply sold as 'used' to a third party buyer/consumer?

By law they have to be sold as used.
