People depend on their tips to make a living.  People that are waiters and waiteresses make  very little money, as far as an hourly wage is concerned.  The bulk of their income comes from tips.  I am not a wealthy person, but I always tip 20%.  Even if the service is not that great.  If the service is really good, I tip even more, if I have the money.  But, 20% pf the total bill, is the least we as people, that can afford to go out to a nice restaurant, and drink a bottle of wine should tip.  We might be helping a single mother or a college student pay for groceries!  This is the least we can do for them.   They are working, and not asking for a hand out.  Open your heart and wallet.
