To tip or not to tip

My daughters friend (and a friend of mine also) is a massage therapist.I would go to her place of business and get my massages.  Since we were friends she offered to come to my home and do the therapy.( Now I pay $75.00 + $25.00 tip to her in the shop)I said fine and we made an appointment to come to my home.I had my massage and paid her $75.00 and she left. A few hours later she called me to tell me that for "further notice, that I was to tip her the usual $25.00 just like I did in the shop. Now I am not cheap and consider myself a good tipper, but when she does her massages at work, she does not get the full $75.00. She only makes less than 50% as owner gets the rest. I felt that a tip was not necessary since she was getting the full amount. She made the suggestion to come to my home as I said we are all friends and I have watched her children on numerous occassions for nothing and never minded. My question is Was I wrong??I don't know what to think and I have had answers supporting both sides. What do ya'll think??

No! You did the right thing. She would have had to give half to her employer, which would have been $37.50 + $25.00 tip = $62.00. I think the fact that she received $75.00 is very, very acceptable. Tell her to take her massage table else where. There are plenty of great massage therapist out there...
